2000 Series

The 2000 series is available in two models, differing only in capacity. Each system includes a Hypro triplex plunger pump and DC (12 or 24 volt) motor assembly. Also included are a microprocessor control/display unit, instruction placard, strainer, foam injection check valve, complete shielded cable set and RFI/EMI suppression kit. The system provides fully automatic foam proportioning, regardless of changes in flow or pressure, and offers convenient, push-button operation, making it the easiest system to use. LED digital readouts provide real time performance information.  The optional advanced feature controller offers “auto-on” programming which automatically arms the proportioner when the fire pump is engaged.

  Other features include:

  • • Installs easily in new or existing apparatus
  • • No in-line restrictions
  • • Delivers unmatched accuracy over the widest range of flows
  • • Leading the industry in proven reliability
  • • Proportions continuously, with no stopping to refill
  • • Discharge side injection
  • • Provides the smoothest proportioning available at low flows
  • • Delivers 0.01 to 5.0 gpm (0.04 - 18.9 L/min)
  • • Achieves full pump capacity with all known Class A, Class B AFFF and most Class B AR-AFFF*
  • Control module features:
  • • Ultra-bright LED digital readout
  • • Injection percentage from 0.1% to 10.0%
  • • Displays separate totals for each foam concentrate
  • • Low concentrate warning
  • • Water flow rate
  • • Total water used
  • • Percent of foam concentrate
  • • Total concentrate used
  • • Dual foam capability and calibration
  • Options available:
  • • Concentrate Management Systems
  • • MultiFlo
  • • Remote Start/Stop for pump and roll applications
  • • Dual-Injection Selector
  • • Advanced Feature Controller
  • *Note: FoamPro systems will pump all known Class A and Class B Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) to capacity. Many brands of Alcohol Resistant-Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AR-AFFF) exhibit higher viscosity characteristics due to chemical composition and polymers. As viscosity increases, diminished flow may affect pump performance. Because of numerous variables including pump design, foam cell configuration, inlet piping/components and system layout; please contact FoamPro for application specific recommendations when foam viscosities of 2000 cps or higher are used.

Provides programmable choice of activation of proportioning manually by push of ON button or automatically ON with engagement of fire pump. Ideal for CAFS and SOP’s directing foam use.

 2527-0071
2000 Series Motor Driver
Part# 2527-0071
Availability: Normally Stocked

The motor driver is the brain of the whole system. It takes all of the digital inputs from the control head, flowmeter, tank sensor, and speed sensor to calculate and provide the output speed of the foam pump.

 2660-0056
Flowmeter (Paddlewheel)
Part# 2660-0056
Availability: Normally Stocked

The flowmeter, also called the paddlewheel, provides the motor driver with the total GPM of water flow to help calculate the speed of the foam pump to inject the correct amount of foam percentage on the fly. The flowmeter is mounted in a Tee so that it reads fire pump discharge flow without restricting performance.

Offered as a complete unit, or an upgrade to the older solenoid style. This add-on valve assembly offers the operator a simple method of choosing between two on-board concentrate cells. The activation of the panelmounted switch routes the selected concentrate to the proportioner. The ultra-bright indicator lights provide visual confirmation of cell selection.

3306-0354
Dual Tank Manual Valve (CMS)
Part# 3306-0354
Availability: Normally Stocked

A FoamPro manual dual-tank selector valve shall be installed. The valve shall be designed for rapid changeover of two (2) foam concentrate reservoirs, using a lever located on the pump operator's panel. The dual-tank valve shall provide a clean water flush of the foam concentrate pump. The system shall automatically read the low-tank sensor for whichever foam tank is in use. The valve shall be capable of operating pressures up to 500 psi (34.5 bar) and shall meet NFPA requirements. The digital display shall show performance information for each type of foam concentrate.

Brochure

Engineered specifically for high current draw applications such as proportioner pumps, FoamPro’s solid state DC contactor offers many advantages over mechanical solenoid contactors. Technologically-advanced solid state components are designed to manage in-rush greater than 1,000 amps and over 70 amps continuous current. With zero battery draw in the“off” state, this contactor is a perfect master power disconnect switch. Installation directly in the battery cable, with smaller gauge wires routed to a remote activation switch, makes this an ideal relay for FoamPro’s Advanced Feature Controller “Auto-On” function.

2525-0028
Foam Flush Solenoid Valve
Part# 2525-0028
Availability: Normally Stocked

Used with the electronic dual tank setup, this flush solenoid is controlled to automatically flush the appropriate amount of foam when switching tanks.
